To: Principals, Guidance Counselors and SHS Teachers – An Invitation

This year, our theme is "K to 12 Learners: Ready to Face Life’s Challenges."

Our educators have toiled from Kinder to prepare our first batch of K-12 graduates to become
resilient, self-reliant and independent individuals with strong foundational values.

It is Inter-Ed’s mission to play a major part in the University Search of these young people
who are about to embark on a new journey in their Career Development. We strongly believe
that each graduate who has taken his/her college studies to heart will be contributing to the
economic growth of our nation.

As Howard Gardner once said, "An important part of that understanding is knowing who we
are and what we can do. Ultimately, we must synthesize our understanding for ourselves.
The performance of understanding that try matters, and are the ones we carry out as human
beings in an imperfect world which we can affect for good or for ill."

Inter-Ed has been organizing the Career Consultation & Guidance Fair since 1988, and on
September 4-5, 2018, we will once again be hosting the largest gathering of high school
students, teachers, career guidance counselors and parents under one roof at the World
Trade Center in Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue corner Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City.

Inspired and guided by Basic Education Act of 2013 (R.A. 10533), Inter-Ed aims to guide
graduating Senior High School (SHS) students to make the best, informed decision for their
future by providing them the opportunity to meet university representatives and career
guidance counselors to gain a deeper understanding of their career opportunities based on
their chosen career tracks, aptitudes, interests, competencies and capabilities. It is through
this exercise and enlightening experience that we hope our youth of tomorrow will achieve
#CareerExtraOrdinary thereby producing globally competitive graduates, and fulfilled world
class citizens, committed to build this nation.
The entrance fee is Php 100 per student while teachers are admitted free of charge. The
event covers: free career counseling, free informative career seminars, free career aptitude
tests, free printed materials provided by at least 65 local and foreign universities and colleges
who will be showcasing their institutions.

Regarded as a "must see and must attend" academic activity, Inter-Ed as usual, seeks your
