RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
In the Adventist Particular Education Unit "Ciudad de Quito " of the city of Quito, the
students demonstrated difficulties in the subject of Mathematics which was reflected in
the low academic performance. For this motive in the present investigation there
considers determining the influence of the use of sheets as didactic resource in the linear
equations teaching-learning process, in the students of first BGU year. For this a base
document has been designed and instruments of evaluation were applied to obtain
information. The present investigation is quasi-experimental type, because worked with
two groups, the experimental one where there were applied the sheets and the group of
control which worked in a normal form. The approach used in the investigation is
quantitative and with socio-educational modality. With the analysis of the results it
concludes that to apply sheets as didactic resource influences positively in the teaching-
learning process since the performance of the experimental group was superior of the
group of control.
