Diverse Needs

Intro-Activity: The class will line up across the 5 Min


baseline of the basketball court and participate in a
dynamic warm-up.

Warm-up: As a warm-up activity, the class will partner 10 Min Basketball,


up and begin to play multiple forms of catch with a volleyball, soccer
variety of different objects. ball, frisbees, tennis
balls, yoga balls
Rules: Each student will be assigned a number. Each 20 Min Hula hoops, frisbees
number will represent a European Country. Each
country will have a set of ten questions with each
question being worth 10 points a piece for a total of
100 possible points. If a participant misses a question,
they will be given the chance to do a physical activity
to gain partial points.

Activity: Using the points from the prior activity, each 20 Min Mats, balls, hula
student will purchase equipment to build their forts and hoops
objects to throw. The last fort standing will be the
winner

Ending Activity/Cool-down: the class will gather 10 Min


around in a circle and participate in a static stretching
cool down.

Closure: After completing the lesson, the class will be 5 Min


open for any remaining questions and comments.
