Job Description for Execution & Service Executive – Solar Power Plants**

Basic Requirement: -**

 Site execution, technical knowledge of Solar PV and documentation skills are paramount
to this role.
 Visiting the necessary solar plant sites for site survey with design team and preparing the
reports for the same which will help design and marketing department in the proposals.
 Responsible for the successful execution and construction of solar energy systems.
 The role will facilitate critical projects across design and field teams, with priority given
to achieving the highest level of service to our customers and to our business partners.

Communication & Co-ordination: -**

 Ability to communicate and manage multiple tasks for successful and timely completion
of the project.
 Coordinating with the design team for drawing for solar module placement and a
deadline of the project.
 Liaisoning with the government officials for metering and third-party quality checks.
Planning & Execution: -**

 Planning the Execution, Erection, and Commissioning of solar plants by working in cross
teams with design, procurement, marketing and documentation.
 Overseeing the execution which is as per accepted standards of electrical and civil works.

Monitoring & Maintenance: -**

 Monitoring the issue which takes places such as Execution, Design & Plant Running.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
SUMMARY:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for reviewing photovoltaic solar system designs for
electrical code-compliance. This involves the interconnection of PV systems to existing electrical
infrastructure on a high volume of primarily residential solar projects. Additionally, in the design
of DC & AC electrical systems, the Electrical Engineer will perform calculations which may
include but are not limited to Single & Three Phase System Calculations, Arc Fault Studies, &
Electrical Load Calculations.

In addition to day to day design work, the engineer will be part of planning and execution of long
term solar strategy regarding code language and product research.

This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to work across
many departments from sales to installation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Review and analyze electric systems for high volume of residential rooftop solar designs
 Research engineering requirements for potential new markets
 Provide Electrical Engineering support for Site Technicians, Designers, Permit
Coordinators, and Installers

Candidate profile

Engineering degree/diploma from a reputed institute

● 1- 3 years of experience in solar industry (package/responsibilities dependent on


experience level)

● Planning, assessment and design of DC and AC side of PV plant

● Preparation of BOM / BOQ with technical specification of equipment.

● Knowledge of and ability to carry out design calculations including but not limited to: AC
& DC voltage drop, string sizing, cable sizing, shading-itra-row distances, etc..

● Prepare drawings for AC & DC sides of the plant/array layout, SLD, equipment layout,
earthing layout, water pipeline layout, module mounting structures (MMS) drawing

● Site survey pan India, preparing site visit reports with detailed observations and notes from
site visits

● Designing of DCDB and LT/HT panel

● Working knowledge of Autocad, PVsyst, Helioscope, Sketchup, shading analysis and other
solar energy yield assessment tools

● Knowledge of PV system at the following AC voltage levels: 0.440/11/22/33/66 KV .

● Knowledge of module chemistries and their selection, inverter types and their selection,
and MMS for rooftop/ground mount projects.
