CAPSULES

I. MATERIALS:
Rx Amoxicillin 0.500g
Signa. One capsule tid x 7 days
II. PROCEDURE:
1. Weigh the needed ingredients.
2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly in a mortar and pestle, set aside
3. Take the empty capsules, separate the body and cap.
4. Then, prepare the capsule filler, Place the body of capsule in the capsule filler
holes.
5. Scoop the right quantity of powder and pour on the top of the manual
encapsulation machine. You should spread the powder over the capsules to
ensure the right amount fills every capsule.
6. Use a tamping tool to compress the powder into the capsule bottoms.
7. After filling the capsules for the first time, compress the content using a
tamping tool.
8. Remove the taping tool, add more powder and compress it again.

9. When all the capsules are fully filled cover it using the head of the capsule
one by one, Press it to ensure that the capsule is locked.
10. Clean the capsules with clean cloth or cotton to remove excess powder.
11. Place in an appropriate container and label it properly.
