• A graphical tool which is developed for some
marketable profits but it has features like in Maya 4D,
3D Max and end software.
• But the difference between these kind of platforms and
blender is that it is completely free which is under the
control of General public License.
• It is used for the creation of rigid bodies like toys for
kids some modeling tools animations with some the
customized python scripting.
BACKGROUND
HISTORY
• A graphical tool and a game engine which was
developed by some friends named ERWIN
COUMANS and GINO DEN BERGEN in the
year 2000.
• The aim was to develop some social and
marketable products which have some market
value like games and some tools.
•The source code of this graphical tool was written
in C, C++ and PYTHON.
• Before Erwin and gino den it was first introduced
by Stephen poplawski in 1922.
 for a one-time payment of US$100,670 at the
time
• on September 7, 2002 it was announced that all
the collection of source code have been collected
so it was announced to make it free services for
life time after this decision Source code of
Blender was released.
•Till now Blender is providing its services free.
Suzanne an alternative
to Blender
• An another graphical too named as SUZANNE
is used as alternative to BLENDER. But it was
released and was shutdown this project soon
after its release in February 2002. Which is
considered a day for Suzanne.
• The name Suzanne was impressed by
Chimpanzee primitive.
• Suzanne was more common as compare to
blender’s models
FILE FORMAT
• Blender have a file format of “.blend” which
allows from multiple scenes to single file.
• can be used as a library to borrow pre-made
content
• Blender also have feature module for auto
capturing snapshots and screen recordings
whatever to be done in user interface.
• every things worked in blender for example
animation, 3D, Graphics and many things can be
saved under single file format.
Features
As other Software need a large amount of memory for
installation blender is vice versa to them its need a
small amount of memory to be installed.
• it also supports a geomatrical shapes like polygon
meshes, fast division of modeling and Carving.
• Versatility in blender can be added in it by an another
Application known as YafRay Which also well known
graphical tool But it needed to be purchased an also
have the ability of tracing.
•Blender is a tool with many other tools can also be
connected for additional works like bullet addition to
it soft body animation in it some are named below

• As we have already discussed that source
code of blender is done in python so it can also
be used for python scripting, in game logics,
prototyping and exporting other formats.
As like basic Videos and Audios editing
functions in it.
•Blender have many sub-projects like “game
Blender” which have some different features
available in it as compare to blender like collision
detection and dynamics engine and programed logics
which are not presented in blender.
•And these sub-projects are not free of cost for these
payment is most important.
• As compare to other 3D creation and game
designing tool blender is listed in first row among
those costly tools.

scripting so it is also really difficult for leaners

Support
• Currently the Blender is in market available is
2.79 and it was downloaded in month around 2.5
million times. And in near future the latest
version of blender will release which 2.80 and is
considered a milestone in 3D world. The
Hardware requirements of the are not much
advanced it can be easily run in any of the i5
series machine.
• Most of the users learn Blender from many
social media platform where thousands of
tutorials are available for learning this tool
Use of the tool in Social Industry
• The First Large Project was Spider-man 2 in the
free version of blender were used.
•The Second biggest project was “Friday on Other
Day” of which all the social effects were created by
the help of blender.
Blender is also used for many famous short film in which some
of them are discussed bellow.
