“Eagle Eyes” Strategy

reading strategy called “Eagle
Eyes.” An eagle has very good
video vision. It looks around to find
food.
When you are reading and you are
having trouble reading the word,
here’s a strategy. Be an eagle and
look around for clues.

Look at the first letter and look at

the picture to help you figure out
the word.
