Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

Story: Mojo and Weeza and the new hat

I will come inside the classroom with wear new hat and I will give the students birth what we learn in this
lesson, after that I will ask the students to find something in class like hat, shoes, hole, rocks, pan. put it in
the table and say what that.

Also, the teacher will present the words on the board by using flash cards and there are pictures
describing each word. The teacher will read all the words and the students will repeat after the
teacher.

Tr: So, today we learn about new story: Mojo and Weeza and the new hat, the Outcome is read
fluently at instructional level with attention to punctuation.
Time: 15 min

-The teacher will ask them to come to the mat and she will give him the story and they will read together

The teacher will give this group box; the students will open the box and find some sentences and pictures
to match the beginning of each story sentence with the ending. So, the students will use story to find the
answer. After that each student will read and writer sentence in whiteboard.
Independent Experience (small group activity 2) developing

One student in this group he\she will pick the story and read for this group, so other students they
will sit and listen carefully, after that they will open a box and every student will choice one sentence
to complete and try to remember the answer to put the word in the order with the picture. The
student s will work together because they will put the sentence and picture in order one from six
sentences

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

The students will set in the mat and try to solve the puzzle it makes the picture with the letter to

On 17 October I did a story (Mojo and Weeza and the new hat) different activity for different levels.

Describe (D):
The lesson was for grade 2 D Al jana-en school and KG. In this lesson, at the beginning of the
lesson, I said to the students to set in the mat. I come inside the classroom with wearing the new
hat and I will give the students the brief what we learn in this lesson, after that, I will ask the
students to find something in class like the hat, shoes, hole, rocks, pan. and put it in the table, I
give students 5 min to turn and talk with He\She friend guess what we learn today? My goal was
trying to let students think about what the story about. I used CD to read the story and the student
use finger reading to follow each word and make sure that all students understand it and make it.
I noticed many students know the name the materials because they were taught at the science or
other subjects. I was put on the activity many different words they must to know and some the
students ask me to translate some words they didn't know. First of all, I didn't give him the direct
answer I have put the word in the sentence and I was the act in my hand to understand more. The
students were engaged, and I noticed that they confused between many different words and
sentences Moreover, Next class, I will practice more how to make lesson plan perfect and how to
deal with grade 2 and develop my English language also I will pay attention more when I try to
give activity each group. And time management well with using the alarm. continue to rectify the
behaviours M class and ensure all students are on task, set expectations for all of your group
before you get started and appoint team leaders and assignments. I think that this lesson was like
a challenge for me because this is the first time to try to teacher grade 2.

Analyze (A):
I think that students were responded nicely to all my question and activities with students, I keep
make my class positive and encourage students to say positive words for them. Additionally, I am
just making different actives for them. I also walked around and ask questions to see their
learning level and what they are learning in my lesson. Also, students are not accustomed to
different levels for example low level, middle level and high level. the teacher gives me the
names of this class in the morning. Many boy’s students refused to sit with the girls' group or
change the place that brought me a problem in dealing with them at different levels.

Appraise (A):
All students were working nicely in learning centers and keep showing me their work and I think
that they did well. Moreover, the nature of the experience from the students' perspective is they
enjoy doing this activity they think like the game to learn by doing. In this lesson, I used much
theory I know such as; burner theory. Three modes of representation, one of them is iconic which
is learning by looking to images. Students in this part of a lesson will look at the picture of the
cover page, title, the picture of the action verbs from the story. (Learning-theories , 2017).
also, when I plan my lesson plan I put 3 different level of activity for all students in the class
because all the students are a very different level. I use Vygotsky theory the Zone of Proximal
Development and scaffolding to make 3 different activity for a different level of students in the
class. Additionally, I make the checklist walk around and ask them questions to see if they
understand the activity. and give him some advice to make better next time.
Transform (T):
I can enhance student learning of this lesson in the future, I will try to raise my voice so that all
the students will hear me. In the beginning the class I will give the students brief what we do in
this class. Also, I will organize all the activity and I will make it in the whiteboard with the all
student to make sure they understand, I will save all the names of all students. I will make my
class positive and encourage students to say positive words for them. finally, I will use a small
note to develop my English language for example; I will write the word I can use every day. I
think that this lesson was like a challenge for me. implications for my professional practice, I get
more experience with MST also she is helping me to try to teach the students such as she teaches
first 3 periods and she gives me chance to try to teach another class with helping and she every
day give me the advice to make my teaching better.
