Introduction
Brief Description of the Bungalow
Location
Address: 7, Jalan Jentayu 1, 47100 Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Skyville is located on a hill in the heart of Bandar Puchong Jaya, which is also known as Villas in
The Sky. The location here a very nice area with nice views and fresh air. Among the scenery
from this uphill enclave are Puchong, Subang, Sunway and even Shah Alam. You can even feel
the exclusivity on your way driving up to the hill. As it is located on the hilltop, security would
never be an issue. It also has easy access to roads and highways such as Lebuhraya Damansara-
Puchong (LDP) and it is a very strategic location as there are various amenities located nearby
Skyville. Besides, there are various schools located here such as SMK Bandar Puchong Jaya. The
residents are able to arrive at IOI Puchong Shopping Centre in 5 minutes driving distance and
there are also numerous shops and restaurants. Therefore, it provides a variety of food choices for
people staying here.

Usage – Residential
It is a residential building with a total built-up of 5370 square feet to 5395 square feet and the
dimension of this bungalow layout is about 45 x 100 feet. It consists of 6 bedrooms and 6 to 7
bathrooms.
INTRODUCTION

In this project, we required to design a bungalow and prepare structural drawings for
the bungalow. This project involves structural theory, force calculation and basic structural
proposal which allows further understanding of structural analysis.

The bungalow has a requirement of the following spaces:

1. 1 master bedroom with attached bathroom

2. 2 guest rooms
3. 2 bathrooms
4. Kitchen
5. Living area
6. Dining area
7. 1 store room

The design of the bungalow is to be based on a set of dimensions, in which we chose the
following:
