Vietnam Global Village Itinerary

Day 1-2: Travel • Depart the U.S. or home country in order to arrive by 5 pm on Saturday
Thursday - Friday

Day 3: Welcome • Dong Thap, Long An, & Tien Giang- Arrive at Ton Son Nhat Airport
Saturday (HCMC)
• Hoa Binh- Arrive at Ha Noi International Airport (HAN)
• Quang Nam- Arrive at Da Nang International Airport (DAD)
• Greeted by Habitat Vietnam staff
• Transported to accommodations in arrival city
• First team dinner and overnight in arrival city

Day 4: Orientation • Breakfast at accommodations

Sunday • Travel to build city and enjoy some free time before dinner.
• Welcome dinner and orientation
• Overnight at accommodations

Day 5-8: Build • Breakfast at accommodations before leaving for the work site
Monday - Thursday • Worksite safety & health orientation
• Work on the build site with scheduled breaks for snacks and lunch
• Travel back to accommodations, time for cultural activities, group reflection
and dinner

Day 9: Celebrate • Breakfast at accommodations before leaving for work site

Friday • Work until noon and have lunch at the worksite
• Farewell celebration in the afternoon
• Team dinner on your own

Day 10: Explore • Breakfast at accommodations

Saturday • Day for cultural activities
• Travel to departure city
• Farewell dinner and overnight

Day 11: Goodbyes • Breakfast at accommodations

Sunday • Depart

Your GV trip cost includes donations to Habitat for Humanity Vietnam and Habitat for Humanity International; meals;
accommodations; transport, excluding airfare; predetermined cultural activities; health, accident, emergency evacuation
insurance; and team coordination from HFHI and the host program.

The trip cost does not include airfare, R&R activities, or visa & exit fees (where applicable).

Team members arriving earlier or staying later than the designated trips dates are responsible for their own transport, hotel
arrangements, and payments.
