Concise
Goal 1: Manage the students' behavior by learning the MSTs strategies within the first week and use them in each lesson.
Action points:  Use the rules that the students get used to it and remember them regularly.
 Check if the students remember the rules during the centers time.
 Check with my MST which students may need more management.
 Focus on the students who often misbehave and try to manage them during the day.
 Use my MST strategies during the activities to manage the student's behavior more while they are learning.

Desired time frame: 30\9 to 4\10 (first week)

Any support I will ask my MST to support me through advising me of how I can use her strategies effectively with students.

I used different behavior management strategies such as “how is my day” strategy, Team points(the students
should behaved well as groups) and I used class dojo website. Class dojo website can be for individual
work\ behavior and for class work\ behavior. Also, I used the bill to get the students attention immediately
and to stop their misbehaving during the lesson.
2. Reflection
I sat with my MST to understand how these strategies work and how they are efficient in the classroom. I
asked my MST to allow me to have a look at how she uses the class dojo website on her computer and her
phone. She explained how she contacted the student’s parents and inform them about their students’
behavior. I noticed that she often used the class dojo and for the students who are usually misbehaved. She
took a picture of them and send it to their parents with a comment of their misbehaving. During most of my
lesson I used team points strategy, bill strategy and how is my day strategy because they worked effectively
with the students.

3. MCT evaluation

“uses management strategies that are
established in class- green, yellow, red and
teams points”

Goal 2: Motivate the students' learning using various activities depending on their level of learning.
Action points:  During the first week I will observe students to see what their levels are.
 Talk with my MST to find out her effective activities work well for each students’ levels (emerging, developing, high).
 Plan activities as per the student’s levels. I will identify these in my lesson plans as well.

Desired time frame: 30\9 to 8\11 (during whole TP)

High and developing students’ activities

3. MCT evaluation
In my third observation:
“The activities you had in this class were good, but I would recommend that you challenge learners to make sure
they are learning and going beyond expectations. You managed to differentiate the activities as per group levels.”

In my Fourth observation:
“The activities were good and engaging and students seemed to enjoy them. They were all activity involved in
their activities.

Goal 3: Assess the students using effective assessment strategies to monitor their achievements.
Action points:  Use easy and quick assessment strategies at the end of each lesson I will teach.
 Observe and take notes about how the efficiency of using my assessment strategies through students’ results.
 Provide easy self-reflection to the students to reflect in how they find the assessment that I will do for them. For example, use
multiple answers.

1. Reflection

In my fourth lesson, I used tick outdoor assessment strategy which my MST uses at the end of the lesson. It’s asking the
students one to three questions about the lesson that they learned, and they can’t leave the class until they answer it
correctly. The students write their questions in sticky notes and give it to the teacher. I think that motivates the students to
practice what they have learned and encourages them to learn and explore math concepts.
At the end of each lesson, I assessed the students learning individually and as a whole class. Once, I tried to assess the
students as a whole class using true\ false questions, but it didn’t work effectively because some students have
misunderstood. Then, I avoid using true\false questions to assess the students.

Furthermore, while assessing the students, I observed and took notes about how my assessment strategies are effective. And
then observe the students result of how they did it. Also, I tried to let the students evaluate my assessment using their self-
reflection.
