as “OBLIGOR”), in favour of The CHIEF ENGINEER,STATE GROUND&SURFACE
WATER RESOURCES DATA CENTRE,WAER RESOURCES
DEPARTMENT,Tharamani,Chennai-113 having its headquarters at
Tharamani,Chennai 600113 (hereinafter referred to as “OBLIGEE”):
WHEREAS the OBLIGOR who is engaged in the business of manufacture of
________________________________ (name the product for which No Objection
Certificate is being obtained)
WHEREAS the OBLIGOR has approached the “OBLIGEE” for grant of NO
OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (hereinafter referred as NOC) for drawal of groundwater for
industrial/infrastructure/commercial purpose by his application
dated_____________________.
WHEREAS commercial means, selling of the groundwater or usage of ground water
for industrial purpose
AND WHEREAS the OBLIGOR has entered into an Agreement with the OBLIGEE in
Connection with the grant of the NOC
NOW THEREFORE this deed witness and it is agreed to and undertaken by the
OBLIGOR to safeguard the conditions laid down by the OBLIGEE
Now the conditions of this bond are as follows,
WHEREAS If The NOC granted with specified quantity as in the order issued by the
Chief Engineer PWD, for the drawal of ground water or drawel of groundwater and
transportation of ground water from the Bore well/ open well/Tube well ,located in the
premises at ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------

WHEREAS the No Objection Certificate issued for extraction applies only to the
referred Bore well/Open well/Tube well only.

WHEREAS agreed that transportation of ground water will not made by using by using
this NOC

WHEREAS agreed that all the other dug wells/bore wells/dug-cum bore wells if any
inside the plant areas are not considered for Extraction and will be used for recharge
purposes

WHEREAS agreed that all the drawal structures other than the permitted well should
be closed and to be used as Rain water harvesting structures

WHEREAS the Company agreed that it should install necessary "flow meters" and
monitor the quantity which should not exceed the permitted level. Records should be
maintained continuously from the date of drawal. Monthly statement of daily drawal of
water should be sent to the Chief Engineers office.

WHEREAS as agreed that when the officials of Ground Water Department inspect the
site/premises, perusal of drawal records and water quality observations should be
allowed.

WHEREAS it is agreed that If any Rain water harvesting structures already exist inside
the plant premises should be maintained properly if not,it should be constructed
before signing the agreement or as early before 180 days.

WHEREAS it is agreed that violation of the above stipulations in any form may invite
the cancellation of the NOC accorded by the Government.
WHEREAS it is agreed that the Company should be ready to pay the levy/charges
fordrawal of ground water for commercial purposes, if Government/Ground Water
Authority imposes any such orders in future.

WHEREAS it is agreed that the No Objection Certificate now issued is valid for one
year only,from the date of issue.

WHEREAS it is agreed that a separate bore well is to be handed over to AG of

Concerned water level jurisdiction area of the applicant for monitoring purpose, if
existing unused bore well is available the same to be handed over for investigation
purposes ,if no extra bore well is available a new bore well is to be drilled and
constructed with platform and locking arrangements (in full shape) by the Firm and the
charge paper on taken over is also submitted with 30 days of issue of this order The
concerned section officer has to commence the taking the monthly water level from the
succeeding month from the bore well and the same is treated as regular observation
well.

WHEREAS it is agreed that the Charge paper on the taken over is also to be submitted
to the Chief Engineer on receipt of NOC with in 30 days

WHEREAS it is agreed that remit any due it is agreed to pay in the form of demand
draft ,the balance service charges./ for non-renewing the NOC by the stipulated time
before receipt of NOC and agreed to submit the annexure as mentioned in the web
which is not submitted along the application ,which is to be submitted with in 30 days on
receipt NOC.
WHEREAS it is agreed that the quantity will be reduced by 10 % for every renewal after
three years, and the company make alternative arrangements for sustain their industrial
activity by means of availing water through local bodies/by desalinization of sea water
/or using the urban waste water after proper treatment.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the OBLIGOR hereto have set and subscribed their
