2 firmware

Document information

What’s new in 4.3.2?

The 4.3.2 firmware for the Ethernet-DMX range comes with some new functionalities, such as:

1. Use of a snapshot as a backup cue

The user can now select each of the three snapshots available per connector, as a backup cue in
case of signal loss, for the relevant universe. A timeout can be defined, after which the node will
recall the selected snapshot. The timeout is set in seconds. This provides an easy way to create
a backup scenario in case of problem with the lighting controller. Snapshots must be created
through the snapshot menu. A snapshot is a fixed lighting state, the user cannot record a
sequence as a snapshot. Snapshots can be edited through the snapshot menu.

2. Enhanced output time selection

From the global page, the user can now select a

shorter output time, such as 1,2 or 3 seconds. If
the converter do not receive any more signal
from the lighting controller, the converter will
stop outputting DMX after the selected output
time. This allows the user to create a backup
scenario with two Ethernet-DMX converters and
a LumiSplit 2.10.
The LumiSplit 2.10 will switch to its secondary
input, in the unlikely event the converter
connected to the primary input, stops outputting
DMX.

3. Bug fix
The following bug fixes have been applied to this 4.3.2 firmware:

- Import of profiles created from an earlier version reports errors

- First generation of Ethernet-DMX8 MkII loses DMX output on ports 5 to 8.
