JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT
OF DR. WILLIAM ABOGADO

I, DR. WILLIAM ABOGADO, of legal age, married, a government

physician, and a resident of Aluba Subdivision, Quezon City, after
having been sworn to in accordance with the law do hereby depose
and state:

That Atty. Mark Reynold Arriesgado, a resident of Diliman,

Quezon City, is the counsel who conducted and supervised my
examination as a witness at his law office in Quezon City;

That I am answering the questions herein fully conscious that I

do so under oath and that I may be criminally liable for false
testimony or perjury;

The following are the Questions propounded by Atty. Mark

Reynold Arriesgado and my answers in English language:

Q1: Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?
A1: Yes Ma’am.

Q2: Please state your name and other personal circumstances for
the record.
A2: I am Dr. William Abogado, of legal age, married, and a medico-
legal officer for National Bureau Investigation Quezon, and a resident
of Aluba Subdivision, Quezon City

Q3: What is your educational background?

A3: I finished Doctor of Medicine at University of Santo Tomas.

Q4: When did you take and pass licensure exam?

A4: In 2005.
Q6: Did you have any formal training?
Q6: Yes. After passing the boards, I was a Resident Physician at
UST Hospital.

Q7: Did you pursue any further studies after medical school?
A7: Yes, I pursued a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at
University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH)
and passed the diplomate exam

Q8:Where are you presently employed?

A8: National Bureau Investigation Quezon City.

Q9: What position do you currently hold?

A9: I am a Medico-legal officer.

Q10: What are your functions as a Medico-legal officer?

Q10: I conduct physical examinations referred to our division in
cases of rape, murder and the like and make a medico-legal report. I
also attend court hearings for my Medico-legal opinion.

Q11: Have you examined rape victims or persons alleging to be rape

victims before?
A11: Yes, Ma’am.

Q12: Have you ever examined a woman by the name of Angel G.

Langit?
A12: Yes Ma’am. I have examined Angel G. Langit after she
complained to the Philippine National Police Station 123 that she had
been raped

Q13: Could you describe her physical built?

A13: She was of small built, 5 feet 1 inches in height, and of fair
complexion.

Q14: What was your finding after conducting a medical examination

of her?
A14: After examining her body, I found that the victim’s hymen
showed lacerations at 3 o’clock and 8 o’clock positions caused by a
blunt object or by violence. The laceration is about two (2) days old.

Q15: What do you mean by a blunt object or violence?

A15: It could be caused by a private organ of a man forced to
penetrate the vagina of the victim.

Q16: In the entry which I quote, “Rupture with remnants of the

hymen within the vaginal opening”, what does it mean?
A16: It simply means that if the hymen is ruptured, there is
penetration of the vagina.

Q17: Did you find any injuries on other parts of her body?
A17: None, Ma’am.

Q18: Did you prepare a medico-legal report showing such findings?

A18: Yes, Ma’am.

Q19: I have here a document from NBI QC entitled Medico-legal

Expert report dated August 22, 2018, is this familiar?
A19: Yes, Ma’am.

Q20: At the bottom of this document entitled Medical Certificate,

there appears to be a name, Dr. William Abogado with a signature
over it. Is this your name and signature?
A20: Yes, Ma’am. That is my name and signature.

(Attached to this Judicial Affidavit is an original copy of the

medical certificate marked as Exhibit “A”.)
