OBSERVED DEFICIENCIES
Previous support has been provided to ****** to support his growth regarding instructional delivery. ******* targeted deficiencies center around Assessment Uses
and Assessment Strategies.

Assessment Uses: The teacher does not use a variety of standards-aligned assessments and aggressive monitoring strategies throughout the lesson to
assess students’ progress. After observing the teacher on multiple occasions and providing written and real-time feedback, the teacher does not
adequately check for understanding. The teacher is unaware of student progress/mastery due to the inability to determine the most appropriate
assessment usage aligned to the instructional skill/standard.

Assessment Strategies: The teacher does not create a variety of opportunities for students to self-assess, peer assess, and receive timely feedback. The
teacher does not plan the lessons based on the PBL units and scope & sequence identified. The teacher has received the following ratings during TKES
walkthroughs.
