of your final, hard bound thesis (not the year when you had your viva or when you are submitting
the final version of your thesis). The title page of your hard bound thesis should give the month
and year of submission for examination. (You do not need to include information on the spine on
the soft bound thesis for examination)

2Either is fine, depending on the space available. You must not use the abbreviation
MRes. The abbreviation MRes is used for the degree of Master of Research which is a taught
postgraduate qualification.
