On – line Registration & Progress Monitoring


of
Non – Teaching Academic Courses

Non - teaching academic courses like Summer training / In – house practical training /
Internship / Project / Dissertation / Term Paper etc. are very important part of all the
programmes offered at Amity University & play pivotal role in developing various
professional competencies among the students.

It also gives an opportunity to understand the industry / professional requirements to meet


the global challenges.

A system on Amizone has been developed for keeping timely record of planning,
continuous course progress monitoring, conduct and evaluation of these non - teaching
academic courses & ensuring fulfillment of the course objectives.

This is yet again a step taken to strengthen our academic system through automation

The Registration form for non - teaching academic courses being conducted during the
summer break is available on - line on Amizone for the students which can be accessed by
clicking on ‘Internship’ link on the left menu.

It is mandatory for each student to register on – line for the non – teaching academic
courses being conducted during the current summer break.

No student will be permitted to re – register for the odd semester of the next academic
session 2010 – 2011 if the student fails to register on – line & to complete the non –
teaching academic courses being conducted during the summer break.

Therefore all students are advised to complete the registration details on – line
immediately.

On submission of same “Approval Status” at the bottom of the screen on Amizone will be
displayed as “Pending”.

On receipt of your registration details the concerned Head of Institution will approve
your registration form on – line and will assign “Faculty Guide” to you.
“Approval Status” at the bottom of the screen on Amizone will change to “Approved”
in case registration form is approved by the HOI & “Not Approved” in case registration
form is not approved by HOI.

Once your registration form is approved on – line by the concerned HOI, the format
for submission of synopsis will be available on Amizone for you to submit the same
on – line.

You are to submit the weekly progress report (WPR) every weekend via E - mail / Post /
in person as agreed with the assigned faculty guide who will update the status on – line
on every Monday of the next week.

The weekly progress report (WPR) status will be taken into consideration for awarding
marks in the continuous assessment.

All the students will be informed by their respective institution / faculty guide / program
leader to register on - line for the summer project / training / term paper / field work /
dissertation etc. being conducted during summer break & submit synopsis latest by
31 May 2010.
