It is a boutique retreat situated about 35km from the centre of Bangalore. The retreat host 14 rooms
spread across 22acres of 300 coconut plantation, Gardens and paddy fields.

Land use analysis : The retreat is spread horizontally on the 22 acres of land which consist of 3% of
ground cover, 79% of landscaping and recreational area and 18% of circulation space and other
facilities.
The zoning of the resort is regular and balanced and the site is irregular in shape.
The goal of the overall site planning takes a curvilinear movement through the site to achieve the
concept of traditional architecture through landscape.
The pedestrian zones are an efficient layout spread in a curvilinear form through the site.
Interior detailing :
Vernacular elements of architecture such as the antique doorways and stone pillars. This strong
balance of the two style reflects in the overall design, material selection and fixtures.
Disadvantages :
The resort has 14 rooms and can accommodate one 25 people at a time on sharing basis. This
creates more demand on terms of user occupancy but limits thee availability of space for the guest
during peak season.
Advantages :
In design , aesthetics, services and comfort level. The cottages are spread over 25 acres giving
complete privacy to each and every guest.
Main block :
The main block is near to the reception. It consists of Living room, dining room, kitchen and 3 pool
side cottages .
The 3 pool side cottages overlooking the signature antique - pillared entrance, infinity pool
surrounded by flowering , an outdoor Jacuzzi and the central courtyard of the retreat.
Dining : ( 50sq.m )
It is near to the infinity pool and next to main lobby. It can accommodate 12 people at a time.
Dining tent : Tent style dining hall with north light and pyramidal roof.
Tents : (45sq.m) – 8 elegantly designed tents are set in a peaceful environment. Each tent
accommodates two people, and has an en suite bathroom that open into a private walled courtyard.
The open air ambience was created ,so as to be in touch with the natural elements.
