Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry
of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following position.

Name of position: Research Associate/ Senior Research Fellow: (06 nos)

Eligibility:
Research Associate: Ph. D. in any branch of Life Sciences with expertise in the area of Immunology, Microbiology,
Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. The candidates should have publications in reputed peer-reviewed journal in relevant
area of expertise.
Senior Research Fellow: Candidates must hold a post graduate degree with first class in biological sciences or allied subjects
and at least two years of research experience. Candidates with publication and experience in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/
Immunology/ Molecular Biology will be preferred.

Name of position: Laboratory Technician: (04 nos)

Eligibility:
Candidates having Intermediate with DMLT (1 year course) and have worked in a biology research laboratory after obtaining
DMLT. Or Candidates having B.Sc. or above in Biotechnology/Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/Physiology and have worked
in a biology research laboratory after obtaining the degree (B.Sc. or above).
Fellowship: As per GOI guideline
Age: As per GOI guideline

Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process.

the interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will
