H ightights and Achlevements

Capacity Buitding in the area of Bioinformatics, lTeS apart from Computer Software and Hardware
sectors by creating awareness among Cottege Teachers and Trainers.
PMGDISHA: As a certifying agency under Govt. of lndia, NIELIT Guwahati has conducted online
proctoring for 12253 numbers of beneficiaries in Assam as on 31.03.2018. The tota[ target to be
covered in Assam is 19.2 takhs-
DoNER:Under the sponsorship from Ministry of DoNER, Govt. of lndia first batch training of 1077
nos. of Govt. of Assam emptoyees at NIELIT Guwahati and a[[ its Extension Centres is in progress.

Medical Electronics Project at Silchar Efension Centre of NIELIT Guwahati: Under the
sponsorship from Ministry of Electronics and lnformation Technology (MeitY), Govt. of lndia, a
medical etectronlcs lab's being set up at Sitchar EC of NIELIT Guwahati. The project witl impart
training to the [ocaI youth in repair/service of MedicaI Electronics Equipment's. Totattarget for 3-
years G 75.
Anti-spam Project: Under the sponsorship from Ministry of Etectronics and lnformation
Technotogy (MeitY), Govt. of lndia, an Anti-Spam coordination Centre jointty with NIELIT lmphat
Centre is being estabtished at City Centre of NIELIT Guwahati. The main objective ofthe project is
to establish an Anti-Spam facitity and to devetop a framework for collection, anatys's and
exchange of informatlon about spam mails.
Conducted tratning of 100 SC/STjob seekers in lT-0 Level and of 25 SC/STjob seekers in CHM-O
LeveL
A Workshop on lnternet Security Awareness was conducted by NIELIT Tezpur on September 07,
2017 at L.G.B. Girts Cotlege Govt. High School and MP Schoot, Tezpur. A total of 100 participants
attended the training. Simitarly, another workshop was conducted on September LL,2O!7 al
Tezpur Scaence Academy in whlch 110 participants attended.
A Hardware Lab was set up at NIELIT Guwahati Centre for providing hands on learning experience
to the students of long term CHM'O', A Level & other NSQF atigned short Term courses. The
newty set up hardware lab boasts of some high end equipments such as Analog Oscittoscope
(CRO), digitat Multimeter (Hand Hetd) Function Generator, Pulse Generato[ D.C regutated
muttipte power supp[y etc.
