ABSTRACT
Education Facilities and Infrastructure are used to facilitate students for study. By using
the right education facilities and infrastructure in teaching and learning activities, the
program will be more effective and efficient. Modeling Design and Information
Building Competence of SMKN 5 BANDUNG have been builf for a long time and
requires to have standards facilities and infrastructure by the Minister of National
Education, in addition there are facilities and infrastructure needed by the curriculum,
so that evaluation is needed to see the availability, completeness, and conditions owned
by MDIB Competence of SMKN 5 Bandung. Purposes of this research are to find out
the availability, completeness, and condition of educational facilities and infrastructure,
and also to find out whether existing facilities and infrastructure are sufficient to the
standards that have been determined. The standards used are the Minister of National
Education Regulation No. 40 of 2008 and architectural standards. The research method
is a descriptive evaluative method and uses a qualitative approach. The research process
is that researchers first make observations and documentation, then the data of the
results of observations are conducted and discussed. From the observations it was found
that the existing educational infrastructure was almost completely in accordance with
the standards that had been set, while for educational facilities there were still some
facilities that had not fulfilled such as lack of educational equipment, educational media,
other equipment and incompatible furniture with architectural standards.
