MISSION STATEMENT
CIVIL ENGINEERING
The Department of Civil Engineering is established
to train the students to become competent
professionals and researchers through its
eminent faculty, state of the art laboratories
and infrastructure. The department continues
to promote research activities to find innovative
solutions of pragmatic engineering problems by
using research facilities of international standards.

INTRODUCTION
The department has internationally trained faculty,
well equipped labs and infrastructure facilities,
in line with the Pakistan Engineering Council
(PEC) and Higher Education Commission (HEC)
requirements.

The Civil Engineering program is fully accredited

by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The two
batches of students have graduated and the
forth batch will be graduating, Insha Allah, in July,
2016. Having worked for more than 40 years with
international organizations and institutions (e.g.
World Health Organization) in various capacities
such as Director, Advisor, Professor and
Researcher it is my ut-most desire and hope to
make this department, as one of the best in the
country, known for its academic excellence and
high quality graduates.
