Request for Nationwide Address on December 26, 2018

Mr. President,

On behalf of the entire conservative/America First movement, let me begin by applauding your
dedication to doing what’s right for America and being willing to stand up for a sovereign
America in the face of tremendous astroturfed opposition from both the Left and the
establishment Right. America is greatly blessed by your sacrifice and steadfastness.

Make no mistake, you will win this government shutdown. The time is now to take the truth
about illegal immigration and the effectiveness of border walls directly to the American people.
Today (12/24), you began this effort with your Facebook post on the White House Facebook
page, as well as, your Donald J. Trump page. This was an excellent first step, but we need to
reach further given the coming Leftist attacks.

As you well know, the overwhelming majority of Americans intellectually understand the
adverse consequences of mass illegal immigration; however, very few share the firsthand
perspective that you have. Border security, including a wall, is a matter of national security for
the United States and serves as one of the most effective measures to stave off systemic crime
communities, protect against wage suppression for lower and middle class Americans, mitigate
unfair competition for American jobs, and ensure our nation’s sovereignty for generations to
come.

Mr. President, the Republican establishment has been promising to fight for wall funding for 2
years, yet has repeatedly kicked the can—seemingly with no end in sight to their habitual
fecklessness. To be frank, the fight is now or never.

Let us not forget either that the Democrats have supported border security, including the wall,
for decades. From Hillary Clinton to Chuck Schumer, Democrats have repeatedly supported
common sense measures similar to the ones you’ve proposed. Unfortunately, they care more
about destroying you than they do protecting the interests of American citizens—their actual
constituents. Three noteworthy examples of Democrats supporting plans akin to yours are:

1) 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (which first
authorized the fence and required double layer fencing in San Diego)
2) 2006 Secure Fence Act
3) $40 billion border security amendment on the Gang of Eight amnesty in 2013

The American people trust you. The American people listen to you. Now is the time to make
the case directly to them.

We ask you to consider making a primetime national address from the White House on
Wednesday, December 26th—the day after Christmas. Given the previous day’s celebrations,
distractions will be at a minimum granting you the exclusive opportunity to speak directly to
tens of millions of Americans. Offer it to the networks, and if they say no, we’ll go around them
completely, taking to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube with dozens of top tier conservative
influencers to lend support and amplify the broadcast.

It is paramount that the American people see and hear from their President that the border
fight is one that effects every single person, directly or indirectly. Americans need to hear that
modern Democrats, the same ones who fought to close the border just a few years ago, have
prioritized illegal immigrants—drug cartels, human traffickers, terrorists and criminals—over
the best interests of the American people. Americans need to see the images of the numerous
hundred mile expanses of unsecured southern border and the violence, drug trade and threats
that flow through them every day.

Chuck Schumer himself said it best on June 24, 2009 when he stated, “Above all else, the
American people want their government to be serious about protecting the public, enforcing
the rule of law and creating a rational system of legal immigration that will proactively meet our
needs rather than reactively responding to future waves of illegal immigration. People who
enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens and illegal aliens should not be
treated the same as people who entered the U.S. legally.”

There is no one more effective at connecting with the hearts of Americans than you, Mr.
President. You can win this battle. You can be the President that keeps his promises. You can
be the President that prioritizes the future of our nation over the social justice whims of the
day. You can solidify and energize your base, yielding a commitment and loyalty like you’ve
never seen before.

But in order to do so, they need to hear from you. They need to see the love for this nation in
your eyes. And they need to see the seriousness of stakes at hand.

Mr. President, rally the nation behind you on December 26th.

It’s time to make history and win big.
