The mudskipper is a fish. It lives out of water most of the time. It lives in
muddy places and on roots. Unlike other fish, mudskipper is able to survive on
the solid ground during the low tide.

It has fins. It uses the fins to walk and hop. Mudskipper likes to rest on the
roots, rocks and other objects located above the surface of the water. Too
much time under the water can actually kill a mudskipper.

The mudskipper has a pair of eyes. Its eyes stick out on top of its head. The
mudskipper can see in all directions.

Mudskipper is a carnivore (meat-eater). Its diet is based on insects, small

fish and worms. Mudskippers can survive more than 5 years in the wild.
