ease the process that are held in the hospital, from the registration of the patients to the bills pay by the
patient and also management of the doctors as where they have to perform their duties and so on. This
computerized project will replace the manual system of the hospital which is so error prone. As in this
system there will be information about everything in the computerized manner. Administration will have
information about which medicine is near to expiry date so they should replace it or which medicine is
being used by which patient. This system will also have the information about the doctors as which doctor

3. Business Context
This project is for the Hospital management system, and this project is associated to the hospitals. The
users of this product will be doctors, staff and administrative peoples. This product is for commercial
needs.
4. Product Objectives
The main objective of the product is to divide the workload and to maintain the records seperatly so that
the administrator could access the required data separately. For example at the reception the management
personals can only access the registration part only to register the patient and allot the appointment to the
required doctor. The doctor can access to the appointments allotment and their payroll section as well.
State the objectives for developing the product.
5. Financial Forecast
[This product will be based on records and data warehousing will be used for the keeping the records so at
the end if the executives wants to check the monthly or yearly revenue he can evaluate the profit and loss
perfectly because in data warehousing the strategic deceision can be taken which will help to maintain the
financial crisis. For a commercial software product, the Business Case should include a set of assumptions
about the project and the order of magnitude return on investment (ROI) if those assumptions are true. For
example, the ROI will be a magnitude of five if completed in one year, two if completed in two years, and a
negative number after that. These assumptions are checked again at the end of the elaboration phase when
the scope and plan are known with more accuracy. The return is based on the cost estimate and the
potential revenue estimates.
The resource estimate encompasses the entire project, through to delivery. This estimate is updated at each
phase and each iteration, and becomes more accurate as each iteration is completed.
An explanation of the basis of estimates should be included.]
6. Constraints
[Express the constraints under which the project is undertaken. These constraints impact risk and cost.
They could be things like external interfaces that the system must adhere to, standards, certifications or a
technical approach employed for strategic reasons, such as using a certain database technology or
distribution mechanism.]
