ABSTRACT

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NUTRITIONAL STATUS WITH STUDENT


LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTS OF V GRADE IN THE PUBLIC ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL OF TANJUNG DUREN UTARA 06 MORNING 2015/2016 ACADEMIC
YEAR ON NOVEMBER 2016

Nutrition be something very important for humans, because intake adequate nutrition
can determine the productivity in human beings themselves. The low status child
nutrition will bring negative impact on improving the quality of human resources. And
learning achievements is an outcome or by one of the outcome of the activities of
learning that can be has just shown the form of the figure. Design research used in
this research was crossectional with using a technique sampling convenient sampling.
The study is done in the public elementary school of tanjung duren utara 06 morning
located in tanjung duren raya no. 20 rt.13 / rw.07, tanjung duren north, grogol
petamburan, west jakarta, jakarta special capital region. How to capture the data in
this study to the nutritional status in the grade 5 students performed with the
measurement of weight and height directly on the grade 5 students who are using
scales and measuring instrument microtoice departure, after getting the data of
weight and height are then counted in body mass index (IMT) and then linked with the
age in category Z-score. As for how the learning achievements of data retrieval from
grade 5 in the public elementary school of tanjung duren utara 06 morning is to
collect report cards from grade 5 students who have measured height and weight, and
after the report cards were collected from the new grade 5 students is calculated for
the average value of the students related to views in the standard category average
value that has been set. And the number of students who are needed in the study of the
calculation formula of large samples is as much as 96 students, but not all of the
samples were taken into the sample research because in this study researchers make a
criteria of inclusion and exclusion criteria that where a sample that meets the criteria
for inclusion and exclusion criteria that amount to 90 students. From the sample
obtained, all the samples was made in the research sample. The conclusion of the
results of research and the relationship of nutritional status with results obtained by
students learning achievement p value = 0593 (> p 0.05) and it can be concluded that
there is no a relationship between the nutritional status with the student learning
achievements.
