Job Description:
Erection
 Distillation Section
 Receiving, foundations adjustment and unloading of distillation columns.
 Alignment inspection of before and after junction columns.
 Support in Erection of Distillation columns.
 Quality Assurance of Erection of Platforms of distillation Columns and management of heavy
machinery.
 Inspection of Column trays (Sieve trays, valve trays and Bubble cap trays) made by KOTCH
GLITCH.
 Fermentation Section
 Planning for Material procurement as per Drawing.
 Quality Assurance on standard basis.
 Verification of All running Invoices related to physical work completion progress.
 Molasses storage tanks( MS tank)
 Planning for material procurement as per Drawing.
 Inspection of Bottom, all Shells (7 shells) and Roof of MS tank on the basis of standard API 650.
 Co-ordination in provision of Consumable Material.
 Heat Exchangers
 Supported in Erection of Plate & frame type heat exchanger made by Alpha Laval.

Job Description
I was assigned to study their streamline production line, Boiling section and Pan Section.
FINAL YEAR PROJECT
TITLE:
Production of biodiesel from 100 Ton/day Multi-feedstock (Beef tallow, poultry fats, Waste cooking oil)
by hydrodynamic cavitation reactor
 Added Multi-feedstock capability to plant.
 Separated Impurities from Multi-feedstock by Heating, settling and filtration.
 Higher Free fatty acids (more than 20% in feedstock) were converted into Biodiesel by esterification in
Agitated Batch Reactor within 48 hour.
 Fatty acids converted into Biodiesel by Transesterification process using Hydrodynamic cavitation
operation.
 95% conversion achieved in Hydrodynamic cavitation Reactor in 10 minutes.
 Separated obtained biodiesel (Methyl Ester) from glycerin, methanol and catalyst (KOH).
