ACTIVITY 2
1. Teacher explains the rules of coordinating conjunction (AND, BUT,
SO)
2. Teacher distributes Worksheet 2
3. Pupils fill the blanks with the correct coordinating conjunctions.
Each pupil will answer 2 questions, numbering heads.
4. Pupils rearrange the sentences in logical order in their respective
group.
5. Pupils share their answers with group members.
6. Teacher checks the pupils’ answers.

ACTIVITY 3
1. Teacher distributes an email template to each group – Worksheet
3 (differentiation of materials)
2. By using the sentences from Worksheet 2, pupils write an email in
at least two paragraphs to ask a friend to join to go to PC Fair. The
advanced group is required to add 3 additional sentences, the
intermediate 2 sentences. The weak group will rearrange the
sentences to produce a coherent email. (differentiation of
product)
3. Gallery poster – 1 representative from each group will present the
completed email.
4. Teacher provides feedback.
