Extract from the Police Blotter of Leganes Police station, Municipality of


Leganes, Province of Iloilo, Philippines, entered in the Blotter Entry No. 2009-665,
dated October 13, 2018 to quote:

0100H October 2018- STABBING INCIDENT- At about 1:00 AM of this date


(October 12, 2018). Ronald Regala personally informed this station that there was a
stabbing incident happened at SS Internet Café, situated at Espino Ext., Poblacion,
Leganes, Iloilo. In this connection PNP elements of this station led by SPO2 Alberto
Sarmiento together with PO3 Romel Dabi, PO3 Jee Fabrigas, PO2 Rany Onelongo and
PO1 Janagap, on board on mobile police patrol car responded thereat. Investigation
conducted revealed at about 1:00 AM of this date at the aforementioned place while
the victim in the person of JP Nazareno, 51 years of old, single and a resident of
resident of 12 San Juan St., Molo, Iloilo City, together with his companion Michael
Hopilos y Hosila, ____ years old, single and resident of Napnud, Leganes, Iloilo, who
broke a bottle of coke outside the internet cafe and went inside together with the
victim, saw alias “Niki” who was then playing online games, suddenly, Michael
Hopilos boxed alias “Niki” wherein the commotion started, JP Nazareno went
outside and picked up a piece of cemented debris and went back inside to struck
John Ray Agregado, ___ years old, single and a resident of Poblacion, Leganes, Iloilo
who was then watching online games on said establishment. In return, the suspect
John Ray Agregado, stabbed the victim several times hitting on his left chest; left
face and back portion of the body that after the incident the suspect fled westward
of Espino, Ext., Poblacion, Leganes, Iloilo. The victim was brought by several
concerned persons onboard a tricycle to this police station and transferred to the
back police patrol car and immediately brought to WVSMC, Jaro, Iloilo City, but it
was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by his attending physician. The Responding
police officer conducted hot pursuit operation against the suspect but fortunately
escaped to unknown place. Recovered from scene of the incident one (1) piece of
cemented debris and two pairs of slippers with blood stain and presently in custody
of the station.
