Air filter
Filter 1
To change the air filter the canopy side door
must be open and the platform and steps down.
First undo the two clips from either side of the
air filter container and remove the cover. You
can now remove the first filter (this will pull out)
to expose the secondary filter.

Engine Oil
The engine will hold approximately 33 litres of oil (this quantity
includes the oil filter).
Check the level of oil with the dip stick and fill accordingly.

Engine Cooling System

Filling Cap
The engine coolant system
tank has a capacity of 47 litres.
Level Indicator
This should be replaced every
6 years or 6000 hours.

Standard Anti Freeze Protection Temperature Range


Water temperature range at 30% coolant concentration .-14oC (6oF) to 104oC (209oF)
Water temperature range at 40% coolant concentration .-24oC (-12oF) to 105oC (222oF)
Water temperature range at 50% coolant concentration .-37oC (35oF) to 108oC (226oF)
Water temperature range at 60% coolant concentration .-52oC (-62oF) to 110oC (231oF)

Fuel tank / fuel filters
The fuel tank is located at the bottom of the power
pack and will hold approximately 400 litres of Diesel.

Batteries and isolator

There is a isolator switch located on the side of the power pack


which must be turned off a the end of each day

Greasing points
These 4 grease nipples can be found
on the Left-hand side of the machine
and they feeder the 4 bearings of the
Product conveyor.
This should be greased with 2 shots
of EP2 Grade grease every week.

This grease nipple supplies


the clutch bearing and must
be greased with EP2 Grade
grease with one shot every
100 hours working

There are 4 bearing located in


each corner of the magnet
and these should be greased
with two shots of EP2 Grade
grease every week

There are 4 bearing on the Dirt Conveyor and the greasing
points for these are as shown. These should be greased with two
shots of EP2 grade grease twice weekly

1100 x 650 Hydraulic Release/Adjust

The jaw crusher consists of 4 Use EP2 Grade Grease


Spherical Roller Bearing.
These are heavy duty bearings
that can handle heavy loads
and misalignment.

Roller bearing 85 grams of EP2 grease should be pumped into


the bearings each week
This must be increased to 20 grams every 8
hours in ambient temperatures above 35ºC

You should check the oil level


every day and it should be half
way up the sight glass.
Each side contains approximately
4 Pints of gear oil (EP220)

High Pressure Hydraulic Filters


Blocked filter

There are two high pressure filters
located in the power pack.
These filters have blocked filter
gauges on, they will indicate red
when they are blocked and green
when ok.
You should check these when the
oil has reached working
temperature as they can throw up a
false reading when working with
cold oil.

Crusher Drive Belt Tension


The jaw crusher drive belts can be check by removing the flywheel
drive guard inspection panel.

Drive Belt Adjustment

To adjust the crusher drive belts the four Power Pack retaining
bolts should be loosened, these are located in each corner of the
Power Pack

Once the Power Pack retaining bolts are loose you can adjust the belt
tension by turning the adjustment bolts.
There are two Power Pack adjustment bolts either side of the Power
Pack.
Make sure that the adjustment bolts are turned equal amounts, so that
the Power Pack is square.

SPC Belt section 11.7 kg (26 lb/feet)of 32 mm(1 1/4”) belt
force deflection

Basically tension the belts so that when one belt is pressed with your finger
it deflects 20mm (3/4”)
