4.7.2 POSITION OF THIN PLATES OF

CLOSING (Fig. 14)

The thin plates of closing exit mouth of seed from

the hopper have three adjusting position:

Position «0»
It is the position on which the thin plate is
completely lowed and goes to close the exit
mouth of seed therefore excluding the distributor
roll where don’t arrive the seeds.

Position «1»
It is the position on which the thin plate is
positioned lifting it at the first click: it is ok for little

4.7.1 CHOICE OF DISTRIBUTORS
ROLLS (Fig. 13)

Before starting the sowing it is necessary to

choice the position of distributor roll on the basis
of seed dimension used. The machine is preset
for the distribution of normal and big seeds. In
case of small seeds, it is necessary to use the left
crown of distributor roll that has small teeth and to
release from sliding the right crown at big teeth.
For making this operation it is necessary to insert
the key in equipment (1) in the hole on the left
side of roll and to push to outer the sliding lock

DEPTH (Fig. 15)

For a good emergency of sprouts it is important to

The sowing depth is adjusted contemporaneously

that allows to change the position of suffolk

compression of pressure springs, granting more
thrust to the suffolk coulters and therefore
