La sobreimpresión es una técnica de impresión en la que se colocan

dos o más tintas sobre la misma área, lo que permite que los colores de
la tinta se mezclen y creen un tono adicional. Las ilustraciones creativas
pueden producirse al sobreimprimir una segunda imagen sobre una
impresión existente con un color diferente. Dondequiera que las tintas
se superponen, se produce un tercer color de acuerdo con el modelo de
color sustractivo. Normalmente, el efecto se produce manualmente
utilizando técnicas de serigrafía, pero también se puede replicar
fácilmente en software de diseño digital utilizando el modo de fusión
