Metering Mode

Custom White Balance

White Balance Shift Bracketing

✖ Shifts the colors of an image to a


certain color
○ Magenta

✖ Used in mixed lighting to balance
color

Color Space

✖ Two options: Adobe RBG or sRBG


✖ Adobe RBG is mainly used for
industrial purposes, such as
commercial printing
✖ For sRBG, image processing with
comnters must be compatible with
sRBG for it to work, otherwise the
image will look subdued
✖ sRBG recommended for normal
shooting

Picture Style

✖ Adjusts the style of the picture


○ Auto - The camera decides which style is
most appropriate
○ Standard - produces the standard
characteristics of a picture
○ Portrait - reduces sharpening to keep
skin texture soft
○ Landscape - emphasizes greens and blues
○ Neutral - Reduces saturation and contrast
slightly

✖ Protect image is for any deleting


accidents
✖ Rotate image is what it sounds like:
rotating an image

✖ The setting can help you print certain


pictures
✖ You can print all the pictures
✖ You can print one image
✖ You can select a folder to print

Photobook Setup

✖ Arranges selected photos into specific


folder
✖ Can select about 1000 images per
folder
✖ Useful when making photobook

Creative Filters
✖ 5 types of filters
○ Grainy B/W (creates a grainy black and white
photo. B/W effect can be changed by adjusting
contrast.)
○ Soft focus (Gives image a soft look. Degree of
softness can be changed by adjusting blur.)
○ Fish-eye effect (Barrel type distortion. Apparent
center resolution depends on number of
recorded pixels).
○ Toy camera effect (Darkens photo corners. Color
cast can be changed by adjusting color tone.)
○ Miniature effect (Can choose where the image
looks sharp. If you press the <DISP> button, you
can switch from vertical and horizontal
orientations)
