AGENDA
1. Opening Prayer
4. Matters to be discussed:
Readings:
1R: Acts 10:34, 37-43 is about Peter’s testimony that God had appointed Jesus the Nazorean with power,
but people put Him to death, and God raised Him to life on the third day.
RP: 118. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad.
2R: Colossians 3:1-4 is about life with Christ. When Christ, who is our life, reveals Himself, we also are
revealed with Him in glory.
G: John 20:1-9 tells about Mary of Magdala informing Peter and John that the body of the Lord was taken
away from the tomb. The two apostles set out. John, much younger, naturally outruns Peter, but
nevertheless lets Peter enter the tomb first. They see the empty tomb and believe. Jesus really must rise
from the dead.
In selecting songs for Easter, I do encourage you to choose songs that have the word Alleluia/Aleluya in the

G: John 20:19-31. This is about Jesus and Doubting Thomas. In this Gospel reading, Jesus also gives them
peace. The apostles were also given the power to forgive, and in so doing, institutes the Sacrament of
Confession. “Receive the Holy Spirit; whose sins you forgive are forgiven...”
