Cem-FIL® 62/3 is a high integrity AR glass chopped strand Properties
engineered for use in the manufacture of vibration-cast or premix-
spray GRC components. • Alkali Resistant Glass reinforcement
regulated by International Standards

which give it a very high integrity in a wet mix, and a better • Highest integrity during mixing

Products available
Cem-FIL® 63/1 chopped strands are packed in plastic sacks. Each
sack is identified by an individual label. 63/1 chopped strands are
white in colour but a blue colour is used on labels to aid
identification.

42 sacks are placed within a cardboard outer container on a wooden pallet. The
completed pallet is wrapped in polythene and identified with two labels.

Shipment
Sea transport : a maximum of 20 pallets (double level) may be loaded in a 20 foot
container giving a total net weight of 8,400kg (6mm) or 6,720kg
(12mm).

Road vehicle : up to 18 pallets (single level) total net weight 7,560 kg (6mm) or
6,048 kg (12mm).

Storage
Cem-FIL® chopped strands should be stored dry in their original packaging, the best
conditions being at a temperature of between 15 and 35º C and at a relative humidity of
between 35 and 65%. If the product is stored at low temperature (below 15ºC) it is
advisable to condition in the workshop for 24 hours before use to prevent condensation.
