Lively instruction of computer skill courses in the Economic Development/Continuing
Education department at Columbus Technical College. Courses ranged from two hour
sessions with Senior Citizens to full day intensive database development. Also responsible for
the proper proctoring environment for Certiport exams for Microsoft.

Recruited by the publisher based upon proven skills with Microsoft Office and knowledge of
relevant instructor needs. Coordination with textbook author and publisher, while working
independently to create valuable supplemental materials to accompany text.

Marketing Account Specialist


Working as the conduit for marketing assets to all retail outlets from the consumer goods
manufacturer. Management of all materials for retailer websites, promotions, analysis of
promotion success in relation to manufacturer investment. Close coordination with the retail
buying team to plan promotions and assortment for coming seasons.

Children’s Ministry Director


The Children’s Ministry Director is responsible for the instruction of 200 children in matters
pertaining to the Christian faith, including, coordination of curriculum and volunteers for
Sunday school, nursery staff management, two children’s church programs each week,
Wednesday programming, Vacation Bible School, Summer Camp, Summer day camps, and
Bible Clubs at local schools. The Preschool Director manages the daily operations of the
preschool program including, staffing, curriculum, behavior management, marketing, accounts
receivable and communication with parents.

Program Manager – Hospitality and Customer Service Specialist


Implementation of new high school dual enrollment programs by capitalizing on strong
business to business relationships and knowledge of state grant opportunities for funding of
intensive programs. Successful recruiting and management of adjunct faculty between six
local high schools and selection of curriculum for multiple courses ranging from two-hour
computer courses to sixty-hour programs meeting industry specific competencies.

Human Resources and Training


Exceptional service and ability allowed the boutique hospitality management firm to grow
tremendously during my tenure. After acquiring a property, I was responsible for the
onboarding training to excite the employees about their future with this new company and calm
fears associated with the change. It was also my responsibility to communicate with the many

different hotel and restaurant franchise organizations insuring the brand training for each
franchise (often a new franchise for the property) was met and delivered appropriately.

First Assistant Manager


While managing a staff of 25 retail employees, inventory, merchandising and providing
topnotch customer service, I was acknowledged by the Pier One organization for the securing
the largest sale in Pier One’s 20+ year history. This single sale of $114,000 to furnish a hotel,
involved intense negotiation, inventory allocation and transfers, and, delivery organization.
