deriv REST API December 2018
• Built an open source derivative calculator REST API. Written in Java, with a robust testing suite
and a parser, deriv can take the derivative of arbitrary expressions. Available on my GitHub.

runtrack Web App August 2018


• Built the full stack of a (Python) web application to keep track of my running times, goals, and
distances. This project uses a Python, SQL, and Flask. Available on my GitHub.

• Worked with both the Swine and Poultry Research and Development Teams on
projects that typically involved vaccine experimentation and production.

• One of the first hires at an EdTech start up aiming to connect students with opportunities to aid
in their professional development.
• Worked with one other intern to develop the full stack of a (Python) web application.

Chair of the Website and Judging Platform Committee → Co-Chair of the Entire Event
• Led committee to organize both the communications with and the training of judges.
• Currently spearheading the organization of the next two Rice hackathons.

Full Stack Developer
• Working with BakerRipley to develop a prioritization app, built with JavaScript, that allows local
communities to pick items they want the organization to focus their efforts on.
• Received mentoring from a software engineer at JPMorgan Chase in Houston, as this app began
as part of their “Code for Good” campaign.
