NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Dear Sirs,

Your sealed tenders in a cover super scribed as “:-“ Providing and laying Paver block pathway , Cement
Concrete road, retaining wall, RCC Precast Concrete Bench and Rain Water Harvesting structure at existing
storm water drain vacant space benches vacant space at Backside of psychiatry ward, Back side of 18 ward,
Back side 19 Ward, Kitchen area 3batches, Society Area and Kuilthoppu in JIPMER Campus’’ are hereby
invited by the undersigned for the following works so as to reach this office up to 12.30 PM on or before 03-12-2018
The tenders will be opened at 3.30 PM on the same day in the presence of the intending Suppliers / Contractors.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS:-

Please quote your lowest rates for the above mentioned work in the attached blank work schedule. The quoted
rates are subjected to the following conditions.
Specifications of work to be done is as per CPWD Specification-2009 vol 1&2. All materials incorporating

in the work should be got approved from Engineer-in-charge (civil) before starting of the work. All works should be

completed as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

1. Work has to be carried out as per CPWD Specifications and has to be completed within 90 Days from
date of issuing work order.
2. The rates should be quoted with all incidentals / taxes / duties / cess / surcharges / Packing / forwarding /
loading & unloading etc., and nothing extra on whatsoever account shall be paid.
3. The approved and eligible with licensed contractors registered in CPWD (CIVIL) /JIPMER Engineering
Division/State PWD (Enclose work completion certificate/ registration copies / licenses/Work orders
otherwise tender will be rejected).
4. EMD has to be paid of 2% of Quoted Value along with submission of Tender Document in form of
Demand Draft in favor of “The Director JIPMER” Payable At Puducherry otherwise tender will be
rejected.
5. All Documents including Tender should reach Engineering Division Office (Women and Child Hospital
Basement ) within the stipulated Time .
6. Necessary IT will be deducted from the billing amount as per prevailing Govt Norms.
7. Approved quality of ISI& CPWD approved materials to be used.
8. Dismantled materials shall be properly handed over to Engineering Division of JIPMER.
9.The Director Shall have the right of rejecting the Tender in whole or part without assigning any
reasons therefore.
10. Unsigned Tender will be summarily rejected.
11.All local rules, regulation, safety are to be strictly adhered by the Firm Itself.
12. Payment will be made only by the Final Measurement of the works done on site.
13. Payment will be made after 40 – 50 days as per norms on satisfactory completion of work
14. Any Future clarification(s) and or Corrigendum(s) shall be communicated by JIPMER web site only
www.jipmer.puducherry.gov.in
15. The Contractor should make their own arrangements for storing of items for execution of works.
16. The contractor should be responsible for any damages to Properties of JIPMER/Mankind for
works/Others occurring during the execution of works and it has to be rectified under their own cost
nothing shall be paid extra for those kinds of works.
17. Tenderer has to get seal in Tender cover from Dispatch section of JIPMER at Administrative Block
Ground Floor before submitting this division.
18. Tender has to be submitted in person to this Division no other means of acceptance of tender by
Post/Courier is not allowed.
19. All materials shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge before using in works.
20. The Quantity of works in scope may increase or decrease according to the site requirements during the
time of execution of works and so the contractor in-charge has to execute works as per day to day
instruction of Engineer in Charge.
21. No T&P will be issued.
22. Refund of EMD: The EMD submitted by unsuccessful tenders shall be returned to them in person only
without any interest whatsoever with 15 to 90 days after conclusion of contract with successful bidder.
23. The EMD of Successful bidders shall be returned to them after the successful tenderer deposits the
Security deposit of 5% of Quoted value according to conditions stipulated.
24. Late/delayed Tenders received by JIPMER due to any reason whatsoever will not be accepted under
any circumstances.
25. The Envelopes shall indicate the Name and Address, Contact numbers of Tenderer to enable the tender
to be returned unopened in case it is declared “LATE” or “REJECTED”.
26. Tenders shall be delivered in person in O/o Engineering Division.
27. No interest will be paid on SD/PG/EMD/Bill Passing delays.
28. If due to Administrative Reason if the Tender openings last date and time is changed it will be
intimated through JIPMER Web site Only.
29. All The Pages In Terms And Conditions Should Be Signed By Contractor With Seal
30. The above said shall be completed within 90 days from the issue of this work order. No further extension of time
will be granted unless acceptable reason
31. The above mentioned Rate is valid for One year, if required further extension of the work order may be issued
with the same terms and conditions
32. After completion of work please submit the bill in triplicate along with necessary documents and bank details.
