Intended Learning Outcomes:

Students will be able to:


1. recognize the common concerns of Anthropology, Sociology and political science with
respect to the Phenomenon of Change;

2. appreciate the importance of studying Anthropology, Sociology and political science in


developing the society as well as the behavior of a person;and

3. draw the past and present society specifically in the Philippines

Teaching-Learning Activity:

The Teacher will discuss the lesson properly by used of visual aid and picture’s. The teacher will
asked a questions to the students so that there would be a teacher and student’s interaction.

A. Teacher’s Activity 1

The teacher will discuss the concept of identity . Using the ideas generated from Activity 1. The teacher
will use these guide questions for the discussion:

1. What is Identity?
2. What personal traits define your own individual identity?
3.How does Identity change?
4. How do Identities of several individuals influence their group of community?
B. Student’s Activity 1

At the end of the lesson the students will be divided into five groups. The teacher will assigned each
group one major ancient civilization and the teacher will distribute photographs to each group that are
related to their assigned civilization. Each group will present their activity inside of the classroom for
the next meeting

C. Teacher’s Acitivity 2

The teacher will give an instruction to the student, that when they will discuss about ancient people they
must apply the three branches of social sciences the Anthropology, Sociology, and Political Science in
giving the information about this ancient people.

D. Teacher’s Activity 2

The teacher will give another goup activity to the students they will make a poster about the past and
present society of the Philippines and they will explain their work infront.

Assessment Tasks and Tools

The teacher will give a short quiz to the students (20 items)
