Summary
Popplet video is shown to students. Powtoon presentation on past simple tense is provided. After reading text
is given to students, comprehension questions are done. In groups of four, students create a story and share
them with the whole class. Kahoot quiz is done.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
In this week, discoveries in the history will be introduced to the students with a Popplet video at the beginning
of the lesson. After a Powtoon presentation on the topic of simple past tense, a reading text on discoveries and
simple past tense are provided. Then, students are asked to answer comprehension questions. After that,
students are asked to create stories in groups of four. At the end of the lesson, a Kahoot quiz will be provided.
Back-up plan: In case there is a technical problem, teacher will use the hardcopies of the Popplet video and
Powtoon presentation.
