Fog can create dangerous road conditions but being prepared can help you avoid
accidents. The most hazardous thing about driving in the fog is the reduced visibility.

Procedure for Driving During Foggy Conditions
1. Do not start your journey if visibility is less than 100m.
2. If you must drive in fog for official trips, then approval must be obtained by Line
Manager.
3. If situation deteriorates, find a safe place to park the vehicle and wait until
visibility improves before driving again.
4. Inform your Line Manager, in case you will be late due to fog. We all have to be
accountable when making these decisions.
5. Follow ADCO Life Protection Rules No. 1 regarding road safety and ADCO
