Jusprudentia- Society for Transcendence in Law and www.jusprudentia.comis pleased to announce “Jusprudentia Presents H N
Bahuguna Social Summit 2018” Quest for Change on 17th November 2018(Saturday) with the theme “Women Empowerment and
Gender equality.” Gender inequalities are still deep-rooted in every society. Women suffer from lack of access to decent work and face
occupational segregation and gender wage gaps. In many situations, they are denied access to basic education and health care and are
victims of violence and discrimination. They are under-represented in political and economic decision-making processes. Gender equality
is a human right, but our world faces a persistent gap in access to opportunities and decision-making power for women and men.

Bringing together aspiring and experienced visionaries and leaders of social change and innovation from different fields, such as Judges,
Lawyers, Professors, Political Leaders, representatives, entrepreneurs, artists, philanthropists, Journalists, scholars, teachers,
students, civil society and professionals, in order to share brainstorm ideas, launch initiatives, and share an unforgettable
experience of solidarity in unfolding our vision for social empowerment . This Summit is designed to inspire and empower and with
the aim of better addressing these challenges, It moves far beyond just talking – it is a carefully designed journey for learning and co-
creating our future together. We believe facilitating connection, building capacity, and empowering others to make meaningful
contributions are all key ingredients for solving today’s greatest challenges and creating a future where wellbeing is experienced across all
of society. It’s a great opportunity to hear them and to connect and collaborate with all and will provide all groups with a platform to share
ideas and create concrete strategies for change in the society. The event will welcome more than 1200 Delegates.

Jusprudentia Presents H N Bahuguna Social Summit 2018 is hosted by the Jusprudentia Society for Transcendence in Law at Lucknow. It
is an initiative for discussion on bringing about positive social change. It is the flagship annual event and primary public engagement
initiative of Jusprudentia with massive potential for research, collaborating community, influencing public policy, and generating a
significant positive conclusion and impact. The event is one of its kind, following events on Human Rights and World Peace in 2017 and
April 2018.

We explore solutions to the deep causes of complex problems, rather than just the symptoms. The latest knowledge generated from
research, practice, and lived experience will be surfaced.
 Late Mr. Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna

This event is named after Shri. Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna to mark the contribution of the national
leader in social change. He was a man of Commitment. He firmly believed in multi-religious, multi-
lingual and multi- ethnic fabric of Indian society. Risen in politics from the lowest strata this Patriotic
politician eternally detached from all petty selfish motives and refused to compromise with
fundamentalism and regionalism. The History of his political life is full of twist and turns but despite the
blows of time and fate, he steered the wheel of his lifelike the ever flowing Ganges.

Hemvati the son of mountains proved true to his name. He never lost his cool even in the odds emerging
off and on in his life. He was one of those few politicians in India who advocated corruption free neat and
clean administration. He held important ministerial positions in the Union and state government.

We salute to the true son of the soil.

The Award is dedicated to the ones who with their effort have made Change in the society. The award, to be presented every three years,
recognizes individuals, organisations, companies and states who are doing exceptional work for women’s empowerment in their
communities, across four categories.
The award will highlight innovative initiatives that bring about sustainable transformation for women's empowerment within their
communities.
Jusprudentia encourages anyone working to make lasting change in their community, enterprise, country or region. In particular, to
showcase their new and innovative approaches in addressing inequalities. Who lived with the motto “walking in the shoes of a servant
with the heart of a parent, shedding sweat for earth, tears for humankind and blood for heaven?”
Beginning with protecting family values and the sanctity of marriage and with cultivating mature human character Reconciliation,
coexistence and cooperation between diverse groups of people, representing differing values and interests. Many righteous and capable
individuals have dedicated themselves and sacrificed their lives for this noble ideal.
The Jusprudentia Presents H N Bahuguna Change maker Award recognizes individuals who have dedicated themselves for the women
empowerment & inequality and honors them for their work, thereby lighting a beacon of hope that can shine upon each person on earth
who yearns for a change.
The award ceremony is to be held at the Inaugural ceremony of The Summit.

“Jusprudentia-Society for transcendence in Law” and its web portal www.jusprudentia.com is a body of legal minds working towards the
promotion of administration of justice and the healthy development of law, suitable to social and economic needs of the people. Jusprudentia
is a research and educational organization registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860, is actively involved in organizing campaigns for
legal awareness and legal information to be used as a tool for advancement of public good and to provide opportunities to enhance their
knowledge and provide platform to get their work acknowledged through publication, information and attend event. The organization intends
to promote rule of law and social justice by making provision of free legal aid and by maintenance of an efficient system of legal advice.

Jusprudentia provides just the right platform for those young lawyers to shape their intellect, build virtuous vision while embarking their
journey towards success and aims to accentuate contemporary legal matters, while coming up with sustainable solutions. Students from
different parts of India, have come together to raise issues regarding legal education in India while keeping in view the international
standards. Further agenda of this organization will be organizing a number of campaigns and seminars, Conferences, Lectures, Workshops,
and International and National Moot Courts etc. in different parts of India regularly, to keep the vigor ignited.

Jusprudentia is also a knowledge base of various events being conducted in all the Law Colleges of India and all across the globe. It is a
platform for publication of peer reviewed Articles. We have working Journal (Jusprudentia International law Journal).
What we started is now growing muscles and emerging as one of the most leading website for students and faculties. In a very small span, we
have planned to share a lot of opportunities. Jusprudentia goes about as a media and gives most recent lawful overhauls.
Learning law is one of the most important features of Jusprudentia that can prove beneficial to students, professors and any other person in the
legal field. Various kinds of laws and legal topics are discussed elaborately with case notes to help solve doubts and confusions and to know
the law.

Procedure for Submission of Abstracts:
Your Abstract (of about 300 words) should be sent as an attachment in a word file. Abstracts will be peer reviewed before they are accepted.
The abstract has to be sent at summit.jusprudentia@gmail.com

Guidelines for Paper Submission

The Principal of the paper should be followed by Name, Designation, Name of the Organization / University / Institution and Email
address. It is mandatory to mention Email address as all future correspondence will be through it.
Name and details of Co-author, if any.(Co-authors not more than two)
The paper should be typed in MS WORD format (preferably 2007 or 2010)
The paper must be in single column lay out with margins justified on both sides.
The sub heading should be in font size 12, bold and Times New Roman, left aligned.
The main text should be in font size 12, Normal, Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing and Justified
The length of paper should not exceed 6,000 words (including footnotes). Exceeding the word limit may lead to rejection of papers.
All references must be in the form of footnotes with font size 10 and should be according to the Bluebook 20th Edition.

Rules for the Participates:

No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last date of submission respectively.
Participants / Paper Presenters have to register after the acceptance of abstract with payment of required fees.

For participation, registration is mandatory on confirmation of the participation. Only registered participants will be allowed to take part
in Conference.
All the registered participants will be provided access to all sessions of the Summit and kit.
