1. GENERAL
1.1 Scope
Prosedure ini mencakup pekerjaaan pemancangan dengan PC Spun piles dan
methode driving vertikal .

2. PILING WORKS
2.1 General
Penjelasan tentang Material Pancang yang dipakai dalam proyek ini.
2.2 Material
2.2.1 Type Pancang yang dipakai adalah spun pile sperti yang ditunjukkan
dalam gambar shop drawing dengan diameter luar 40 cm dengan tebal
cover 50mm dengan panjang pancang 10 m dan 8 m produksi WIKA
Beton
2.2.2 Kuat tekan beton yang dipakai adalah 600kg/cm2.
2.2.3 Standart Tulangan Spiral mengacu pada JIS A3532 – dengan diameter
tulangan seperti yang sudah di terangkan dalam shop drawing.
2.2.4 Pancang di pastikan lurus dan tidak terdapat kerusakan seperti cracks
fissures ataupun keroposs. Dilakukan inspeksi bersama (joint inspection
) antara owner consultan dan kontraktor.
2.2.5 Aturan lain diterangkan pada spesifikasi teknis 02459.

2.3 Methode Handling dan Penyimpanan Material Spun pile


2.3.1 Pile Stocking
Untuk Penyimpanan material digunakan area yang rata dan padat agar
stabil dan di beri dasaran kayu (5/10) sebagai dasar kayu wooden
wedge (5/7) sebagai tumpuan samping agar spun pile tidak tergelincir,
Maximum stock diperbolehkan 3 tumpukan dengan jarak tumpuan
seperti dijelaskan pada gambar dibawah :

2.3.2 Pengangkatan Pile (Pile Lifting)


2.3.2.1 Bagian Pile yang akan di install diangkat pada titik yang
ditentukan yaitu 1/3 L (seperti gambar dibawah) Kerusakan
akibat kesalahan teknis pengangkatan menjadi tanggungjawab
kontraktor.

2.4 Peralatan Pilling


Piling equipment terdiri dari :
 Driving Rig
 Hammer 35 kN (Operating weight 50-59 ton)
 Crane Service (Crawler Crane Kobelco 505j Capacity 55 Ton.
 Cutting set
 Welding Mechine
 Welding Oxygen Torch
 NDE Inspection tools
 Excavator
 Cap and Wooden Cushion.
2.5 Peralatan Survey
Alat Survey menggunakan :
 Kolida Total Station 440.
 Auto Level
 Measuring Tape.
 Marking Stick / Paint / Color Pen.
2.6 Peralatan Transportasi
Alat Transportasi terdiri dari :
 Service Crane (Crawler Crane Kobelco 505j Capacity 55 Ton.
 Trailer Truck.
 Supporting Equipment : - Wheel loader ( if needed ).
- Excavator ( if needed ).

2.7 Joint of Pile


2.7.1 Ketika diperlukan untuk penyambungan bagian untuk mencapai 'set',
sambungan harus dilakukan sesuai metode penyambungan yang
ditentukan oleh pabrikan tiang dan harus diperiksa oleh Engineer dari
Konsultan. Jika metode penyambungan melibatkan pengelasan,
pengelasan harus dilakukan sesuai standar. Pengelasan harus dilakukan

setelah kontraktor menyerahkan sertifikat WPS, PQR dan welder sesuai


AWS D1.1 dan harus disetujui oleh perwakilan Klien / PT.VI
2.7.2 When it is required to splice a pile section to achieve either the driven
length or to achieve a 'set', the splice shall be done as per the method
of splicing specified by the pile manufacturer and shall be inspected by
the Engineer. If such method of splicing involves welding, the welding
should be done as per the standards. Welding shall be done after
contractor submit their WPS, PQR and welder certificate as per AWS
D1.1 and shall be approved by Client / Owner representative.
2.8 Pile Driving
2.8.1 Just before driving, each pile shall be checked for straightness, cracks
and other defects.
2.8.2 The pile location shall be as per approved drawing & shall be set out by
contractor and checked by the Client Surveyor. The Contractor shall be
responsible for clearing the site of any temporary obstructions to move
the driving equipment to a suitable position from which the pile can be
driven.
2.8.3 Pre boring shall be done just before Piling with depth that is checked
and approved by the Engineer after confirmation by Civil Design.
2.8.4 In principle, pile driving shall be executed in the presence of
representatives.
2.8.5 It is preferable to drive piles from the center of site to it’s perimeter to
avoid refusal. Due to the compaction effect by the previously driven
piles.
2.8.6 Piles shall be moved from its storage area to the pilling machine with
special care to avoid damage to the pile.
2.8.7 Piles shall be hung properly to avoid causing damages to them.
2.8.8 The pile section to be driven shall be held true to the position in which
it has to be driven. The Engineer may check verticality, at his discretion
& shall instruct the contractor about the rectification if needed.
2.8.9 Piles shall be driven plumb or to the designed angle, and shall not be
excessively pulled into line after driving.
2.8.10 Proper cushion, preferably pine, shall be used to protect the pile head,
and to transmit the blow of hammer uniformly to the pile head. The
cushion shall be changed at proper intervals.
2.8.11 If the following matter happens, the Sub-contractor shall immediately
inform Engineer. All deviations shall be reported by the Engineer to Civil

Design and their opinion on the matter shall be sought, regarding the
rectification including driving an additional pile if necessary. In such
case the cost of the pile driven in wrong location, including the
material,shall be recovered from the Contractor.

2.8.12 Piles shall be driven to a specified 'set' (final set is less than 5 cm per 3
x 10 blows), total blows per 0.5 m’ not exceed 500, total blows for total
length not exceed 1800 or to a length as specified on the design
drawings provided by Client / Engineer. The pile should be driven up to
the pile driving elevation as specified on the drawings. All such levels
shall be checked and approved by the Engineer.
2.8.13 If a pile is cracked, broken, or otherwise damaged or driven out of
plumb or designed angel, extra pile(s) shall be driven as directed by the
Client representatives at the Sub-contractor’s own expense.
2.8.14 Welding of pile joint shall be inspected and rectified by Engineer before
epoxy and driving into appropriate depth or ‘set’.
2.8.15 After a pile group is driven the contractor shall clear all his equipment,
material, wood scantlings or any other debris from the pile group
location.
2.8.16 The contractor shall carry out a pile load test either static or dynamic 3
% from total pile driven.
3. MEASUREMENT AND RECORD
The following shall be measured and reported for every pile at the designed driving
length or near to it.
3.1 Rebound.
3.2 Final set.
3.3 Penetration with relevant information as follows but not limited to :
3.3.1 Identification number of pile (as shown in piling plan).
3.3.2 Type and length of pile.
3.3.3 Type of hammer.
3.3.4 Dropping height of hammer.
3.3.5 Length of pile as driven at measured from the average set of the last 3
x 10 blows.
The sub contractor shall submit the report required to the Enginer on every pile
driving day.

4. METHOD FOR TEST PILING


4.1 The procedure specification for testing of Piling Work shall conform the
requirements of ASTM D 1143.
4.2 The direct Pile Driving Analysis (PDA test) shall be prepared and shall be
approved by Client representative.
