Oracle provides its customers with a unique advantage as it is the only company in the world to
deliver a complete cloud portfolio, spanning Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a
Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). Today, organizations in 195 countries and
territories process more than 55 billion transactions a day through the Oracle Cloud.

AWS increased its share of the market between 2015 and 2016 from 39.7-44.1%,
growing IaaS revenue by 45.9%. Microsoft, in second place, grew faster (61.1%) to
finish 2016 with 7.1% of the market. Google, often considered the third member of the
public cloud apocalypse, is actually fourth, with Alibaba jumping to 3% of the market in
2016.
