Silsila Alia came to India.

20- Hazrat Syedna Mir Nuruddin Mubarik Ghaznavi bin Abd'Allah bin Sharf al-Hussaini al-
Ghaznavi Qudosulllah Sirrahulaziz.
Entitled as Mir-e-Dehli was Shaykh al-Islam of Dehli in the period of Sultan al-Tutmash.

Wisaal: 1 Muharram, 632 AH on Thursday.

He was the Khalifa of Hazrat Shahabuddin Suhrawardi ‫ دحمت ا علے‬and was proficient in 'Kashf'
(ability to know the unseen ('Ghaib'). It is said that he also attained 'Faiz' (Grace) from Hazrat Shaikh
Ajjal Shirazi Ghaznavi ‫دحمت ا علے‬. Hazrat Syedna Mir Nuruddin Mubarik Ghaznavi ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was
born in 555 AH in Ghazna. It is stated in Akhbar ul Akhyar; Mirratul Asrar and Khazeenatul Asfiya that
the day he was born his father, Hazrat Syed Abdullah Abul Fazl ‫دحمت ا علے‬, presented himself to
Hazrat Sheikh Ajjal Siraji ‫ دحمت ا علے‬who was a 'Mustajaab ud Dawaat' (One whose prayers to Allah
‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬are answered) Wali Allah ‫هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬. When he arrived he overheard a Murid of the Saint
saying that a son had been born to him and please pray for him. The Shaikh replied “Alright, bring him
to me after the morning prayers ('Fajr') and place him on my right.” Hazrat Nuruddin Mubariq's father
determined in his heart that he would also bring his son to the Shaikh. Early next morning he reached
the Mosque before the Morning Prayers and waited until the Shaikh had completed his prayer. As the
Shaikh turned his head towards the right in Salaam, Hazrat Nuruddin Mubariq's father presented him to
Shaikh Ajjal ‫دحمت ا علے‬. The Shaikh prayed for the boy and concentrated on him. Hazrat Nuruddin
Mubariq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬had been transformed to a 'Wali' (Friend) of Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬by the intersession
of Hazrat Sheikh Ajjal Shirazi Ghaznavi ‫دحمت ا علے‬.

He who Knows, Knows, Knows! Who Does Not Know, Does Not Know, Does Not Know
However, his excellence did not come to the fore until he took 'Ba'ait' (Fealty) of Hazrat Syedna
Shahabuddin Suhrawardi ‫دحمت ا علے‬. During the reign of Sultan Shamsuddin Altamash, Hazrat Syedna
Mir Nuruddin Mubarik Ghaznavi ‫ دحمت ا علے‬came to Dehli and was bestowed the title of “Shaikh ul
Islam' by the Sultan and was known as 'Mir Dehli'. He was accompanied by his venerable and pious
sister namely, Hazrat Bibi Sara ‫دحمت ا عللے‬. Hazrat Bakhtiar Kaki ‫دحملت ال عللے‬, the great successor of
Hazrat Ghareeb Nawaz ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was also in Dehli in those days and was called as brother by Hazrat
Bibi Sahiba ‫دحمت ا علے‬.
Hazrat Nuruddin Mubariq ‫ دحمللت الل علللے‬belonged to the Qadri-Suharawardi Sillsila and spread it's
teaching far and wide in the Sub Continent. It is recorded that he informed his Murids of his 'Wisaal'
(Attainment To Allah ‫ )هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬seven days prior to the event. He used to deliver a weekly sermon
every Thursday, after delivering his sermon he said “Dearly Beloved, I will be leaving this Temporary
Abode next Thursday, I am only a guest of yours till next week. Hazrat Maulana Ala'uddin Kirmani
‫ دحمت ا علے‬was also present and affirmed this and said, “It is as Syed Sahib says, he will leave on
Thursday and I will leave on Friday,” and so it came to pass.

True Men of Living Hearts pass on beneficence during life and 'Wisaal' (Attainment To Allah ‫هسببلحاَنلهه‬
‫)لوتللعاَللىى‬.
As the rose bough becomes dry, it is fire in winters!
The true Saint's beneficence remains no matter he is alive or seemingly dead as a rose bough produces
flowers while it is green and provides fire to warm shivering people with warmth.
