On-Grid Solar Power Systems

Grid-connected photovoltaic power system, or Grid-Tie PV power system is an electricity generating solar PV power system that
is connected to the utility grid.

Photovoltaic power system is carbon negative over its lifespan, as any energy produced over and above that to build the panel

initially offsets the need for burning fossil fuels.

Bhanu Solar ensures to provides installation that gives a

reasonably predictable average reduction in carbon consumption,

considering factors of the sun shining period.

Bhanu Solar Two Metering Systems for measuring Electric Power Supply

Net-Metering, a single new bi-directional meter which is used for measuring consumption of electric energy for noting the either
of the supplies. When the electricity consumed from the Solar grid (or imported to existing electricity supply), the meter readings
will move forward; but, when electricity is produced and send it to the grid, the meter readings will move backward.

Gross Metering, there will be two separate meters: one for measuring existing electricity supply consumption and the other mea-

sures Solar Panel electricity production. Consequently, two diferent bills will be generated: one for consumption and other for

production. There is no change in the way your consumption is billed (as it happened previously), but you get bills separately for

the electricity you produce or use. the cost of electricity that is payable or receivable is decided by the state’s electricity regulatory

commission.

Net Metering – Scenario

If you use 10 units of electricity in a day and the Solar System produce 8 units, then meter will show a reading of 2 units. And if
you use 10 units of electricity and Solar system produce 12 units, then your meter will show -2 units. Your bill at the end of month
will be based on net units consumed/produced. If you generate extra electricity in any month, the surplus is carried over to the
next month and netted. At the end of a year, if your total production is more than that of what you consumed, then you will get
paid for the next surplus electricity produced at the cost decided by your state’s electricity regulatory commission.

Off-Grid Solar Power Systems

Bhanu Solar Off-grid connected solar is a solar electricity system with battery backup. During the day, the sun shines and charges
the batteries as well as supplies power to your home/Business. During the evening or on rainy days when the sun isn’t shining you
use the power stored in the batteries. Your house is not connected to the national grid hence the name: off-grid.

Stand Alone System with Batteries

In Bhanu Solar stand-alone photovoltaic power systems is another alternative
energy system, the electrical energy produced by the photovoltaic panels
cannot always be used directly. As the demand from the load does not
always equal the solar panel capacity, battery banks are generally used.

Maintenance
Bhanu Solar provides panels that have been designed for easy maintenance. 

In general the maintenance covers as under:

q Cleaning of Panel systems from time to time depending on the requirement.
n Check the Panel are clean and the cleaning process will be carried out when the panels are cool to avoid breakage
through thermal shock.

Ensure not to use high pressure hoses or cleaners in order to make sure the panels, lamination or cells are damage
free.
q System Inspection will be done on regular basis to ensure.

Ensure Fasteners are secure, tight and free from corrosion.

n Check the Electrical connections are secure, tight, clean, and free of corrosion.

n Check the mechanical integrity of the cables is intact.

n
Check the Bonding points to ground are tight, secure and free from corrosion (which could break the continuity
between the panels and ground).
