leg B1

Duration: July 2016.

Platform: P-I.

Location: Abu Qir Fields (Mediterranean Sea) – Egypt.

Results:
1- The underwater section of barge bumper found to be in a fair condition the
horizontal plate found welded to Leg B1 all the underwater welds had been
cleaned to S.A 2.5 and subjected to MPI no any crack like indications had
been detected by MPI or observed by visual inspection.
2- The underwater vertical section of barge bumper had not been inspected due
to rubber fenders around this section.
3- One dent had been observed at the splash zone area of the barge bumper.
4- A fracture had been visually observed at the splash zone area of the barge
bumper at 50% of the length barge bumper circumference.
5- Three cracks had been visually observed at the upper horizontal support of
the barge bumper and it was N/A to detect by MPI or to carry out crack
measurements.
