student of B.S. Biology Batch 2019 of the University of Santo Tomas, to your institution for the program
of Doctor of Medicine.

Ms. Samonte was my former student in Invertebrate Zoology (Laboratory) and Systematic Botany
(Laboratory). I was always impressed with her work, ranging from dissections, worksheets, class
participation, and especially her grades in major exams. She accomplishes her tasks earlier than asked, and
ensures that her work is of high quality. She actively listens during class discussions, jutting down notes
every lecture and asks questions after the class for clarifications. This shows her determination and passion
for the sciences, substantiated in high grades for both my subject.

Presently, I am supervising their undergraduate group in their thesis in the UST Plant Sciences
Laboratory. Ms. Samonte, along with her group, is one of the most efficient and organized groups I have
handled. She is capable of grasping new concepts quickly due to her solid foundation in the fundamentals
of biology. She also ensures that the timeline for their thesis is followed, thus proving they have great time
management.
