The mechanical engineering graduates will
1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to arrive at
solutions. 2. Identify, formulate and analyze engineering problems through technical literature. 3. Design a component, a process and / or a system to meet desired needs with economic, environmental, ethical and sustainability considerations. 4. Conduct experiment, analyse and interpret data to arrive at valid conclusions. 5. Use various techniques, skills and modern engineering tools for modelling and prediction of behaviour of mechanical systems by understanding the limitations. 6. Recognize the importance of health and safety, societal and cultural responsibility in the design and implementation of engineering projects. 7. Know and apply societal and environmental context to engineering solutions for sustainable development. 8. Apply the standards and professional ethics in engineering practice. 9. Function effectively as a member or leader of a team. 10. Express effectively, comprehend and write reports on the engineering activities. 11.
