Much nicer weather in the forecast for 21st Annual!

Frosty beards and a frosty fish, Andy Newton of the
Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture
did an official weigh-in of Dick Kline’s northern 2.77
pound pike which would result in a third place finish
in last year’s Annual Ice Fishing Derby. A total of
over $3,000.00 in cash and prizes were awarded.
And baby, was it cold out there! The 21st Annual
Ice Fishing Derby will be held this Saturday,
February 5th and the weather forecast is looking
very favorable for a great day on the pond with very
light winds and a high of 33°. See details of the
fishing derby elsewhere in this issue.

FPST Auditions continued from front
July 26-Aug. 11. On Golden Pond begins Aug. 3,
Performances Aug. 16-Sept. 1. Alice (Theatre for Young
Audiences) begins June 10; Performances June 26-30.
At the time of auditions, there will be an opportunity
to specify interest in a particular role and/or play. If cast,
an individual may be offered as many as three roles,
depending on need and talent pool.
Everyone should come prepared a one-minute
monologue and sing the “Tender Shepherd”. This song
can be found on our website www.fortpecktheatre.org.
Upon being cast, rehearsals will occur three weeks
prior to opening night of each play and typically take
place on the weekends (10am-4pm) and weekday
evenings. Not all actors are called to every rehearsal,
depending on the role.
Local Auditions will be held at the Glasgow High
School Auditorium on Sunday, February 10th, from
11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The minimum age requirement is
those entering 3rd grade fall of 2019.

Letter to the Buzz
Disclosure to the public
On Jan. 28th an executive session was held by 3
Directors of the North Valley County Water/Sewer
District at the St. Marie Town Hall.
Personnel matters and conflict of interest as well as
job results were discussed. In addition, current water
line breaks (which could result in a contaminated water
supply) and corrective solutions were discussed. This
was considered a crisis necessitating an immediate
meeting of Directors. (health and safety issue)
This was a functional, management, informational
meeting in the course of normal business. Since we
were together, we had preliminary discussion relating to
the proposed purchase of an extended backhoe needed
for “deep dig repairs.” No decisions were made on this
potential purchase. A public meeting will be held at a
later date relating this cost saving piece of equipment.
The previous is an overview of what was covered at
this Executive Session. The Public has a right to know
and should know what was discussed. This notice will
be posted in the County Courthouse and St. Marie
Townhall.

another anonymous letter, this
latest one that was postmarked
from Billings, Montana (no return
address, of course) regarding
“our Valley County and City of
Glasgow’s unique way of dealing
with the deviate sexual attacks
that are being directed toward our
young girls and maybe our young
boys (who really knows).
“... that the County thinks that
the public can monitor people that
are released pre-trial into their
community.”
A most excellent letter which
goes into great details, but again
anonymous. Sorry, no signature, no
print. Yeah, no need for introduction
here....
That being said, we did a little
snooping on the internet and ran
into some interesting information
published by Dr. Jeanne King, Ph.D.
We called her, left a message, not
expecting to hear back, but she
called!
We discussed the case at hand
and talked about her article. She
responded, “Please, do print it!”
7 Signs of Narcissistic Abuse

Narcissism is a term that has
become mainstream in psychological
and political circles today. It’s a term 3) Entitled
that grows out of psychology to refer
to an individual with narcissistic
traits or a narcissistic personality
disorder.
Some people will tell you
narcissism in politics has nothing
to do with narcissism in one’s
personal life. I beg to differ. In my
experience, people are to those they
love personally just as they are to the
public whose support they seek.
As Harv Eker says, “The way
you do anything, is the way you do
everything.”
Would you know if you
were entangled in the politics of
narcissistic abuse? Here are the
seven tell-tale signs of narcissistic
abusers. Understand these signs,
and you will know the politics of
narcissistic abuse.
1) No Empathy
These people truly don’t have the
capacity for empathy. They do not
have the ability to authentically
embrace the experiential world
of another person unless for
selfish gain. In other words,
these people can put on a good
“caring” show in their effort to
manipulate others for their own
personal benefit. But they won’t
and can’t stand in the shoes of
another, genuinely.
2) No Remorse
These people don’t feel bad
about any wrongdoing of theirs.
Why? There is no conscience, no
compassion, no concern about
the impact of their behavior on
others, even those they love.
From the narcissistic abuser’s
point of view, the other person
deserves what they got because
the narcissistic abuser is...
These people hold rights — in
their perverted thinking — that
others would never assume. They
live in a world in which they have
privilege to that which is beyond
your imagination. Whether they
are objectifying you, raping you
or ruling your life, they believe
that they deserve what they
seek, when and where they seek
it because it is already theirs—
before they ask.

4) Deceptive
They will tell you whatever
they believe you need to know
in order to get what they are
attempting to extract from you.
To these people, a lie is not a
lie; it’s a mechanism to leverage
outcome. A misrepresentation
of information is the twisting of
facts designed to convert another
into compliance with respect to
that which they pursue.
5) Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde
These people will project a
persona that is 180 degrees
from who and what they really
are. Whether priest, doctor or
politician, they are not as they wish
to have you believe. For example,
they can be an attorney allegedly
protecting an elderly woman
from financial exploitation; all
while emotionally manipulating/
exploiting her, by using her as a

6) Emotionally Dependent
These people require the emotional support and
admiration of their narcissistic supply as oxygen to
sustain them. They truly cannot function naturally
and normally without the object of their narcissistic
abuse serving as the foundation for their existence.
7) Uses Battering for Control
And when their narcissistic supply is in question,
battering becomes the way to level the playing field.
It is their means to shift the power and control within
the relationship. It’s their way to tip the scale, so they
gain the advantage they need to feel on top again.
